Pickleball For Purpose
Pickleball for Purpose is Big Group Hug’s exciting corporate team challenge, giving Melbourne workplaces the chance to step out of the office and onto the court for a day of fun, connection, and impact.

Pro Bono and In-kind Support

Payroll Giving
An easy way for staff to donate
Inspire your employees to donate to Big Group Hug – and enjoy immediate tax deductions. Your payroll team can transfer donation contributions directly to us (email us for bank account details) or if you are using a platform to manage all of your employee’s giving, we may already be an affiliated charity! Big Group Hug is registered with Good2Give, Shout for Good and Benevity.
How does it work?
- Employees can donate a nominated amount, e.g. $10, each month from their pay.
- This would result in a yearly gift of $120 that is tax-deductible.
- Donations are taken from pre-tax salary the tax benefit is immediate.
- The employer then transfers the donation to Big Group Hug, either directly or via a workplace giving platform – we are registered with Benevity, Catalyser, Global Giving, Good2Give, and Good Company. Email us if you need any information from us to get started on the road to giving.
How does this help us?
Just like your home budget, charities can do their work to their fullest when donations are regular – no matter how small.

Run a Goods Drive
You can be a goods drive champion! Register for one of our upcoming campaigns and inspire your team do contribute items to your workplace collection, supporting families in need.
Volunteer as a team
Throughout the year there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer as a team onsite at either our Thomastown or Tarniet hubs, or offsite in the comfort of your workplace. We’d love to have your help!
