PJs, Jocks and Socks - February 2024
Run a goods drive in your home, school or workplace to collect brand new pyjamas, underwear, socks and singlets for the children we support (newborn-16 years old) – you can register as a collection point or donate items yourself.
Double Donation Day
On Wednesday 20 March 2024 all donations will be DOUBLED by a generous group of Big Group Hug supporters.
$25 will become $50.
$50 will become $100 and so on!
Register for reminders or creating a fundraising team to have twice the impact and make a difference for kids doing it tough!
Pickleball For Purpose
After a successful inaugural event in 2025, Pickleball for Purpose is Big Group Hug’s new workplace challenge that’s designed to bring Melbourne teams together for a day that’s as meaningful as it is fun!
Step onto the court, pick up a paddle, and enjoy a game anyone can play. With prizes, loads of fun, and friendly rivalry, your team will also be making a real difference for children and families doing it tough.
Spots are limited for this corporate pickleball tournament in Melbourne, don’t miss out!

Winter Warmers
Our winter warmers drive is lve! As the cooler months set in, we’re asking the community to donate new and pre-loved winter clothing and bed linen for children aged 1-16 (sizes 6-16 most needed) for distribution to the families we support in the cold winter months, and year-round. You can register as a collection point or donate items yourself.
Children's Week
Celebrate Children’s Week (18 October – 26 October 2025) with Big Group Hug and take part in a range of exciting activities! You can be the difference for disadvantaged children to ensure that no child is left behind.

Festive Appeal
This November, join Big Group Hug’s Festive Appeal and help provide for kids in need this Christmas. Join as an individual, with family and friends, or colleagues.
