Nelson Alexander’s Charitable Foundation is dedicated to supporting local causes in the communities they serve. Foundation Day, on September 9th, is a special event that exemplifies their commitment to giving back. In 2023 the focus is on addressing food insecurity in Melbourne.
In a world where compassion and kindness hold immense power, the Nelson Alexander’s Charitable Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to making a difference. Since 2005, their dedication to giving back to their local communities has been inspiring.
Food insecurity is a harsh reality that too many face daily, and we see it first-hand here at Big Group Hug. Families facing financial hardship are often faced with the impossible decision of buying formula for their baby, or putting petrol in their car to get to work.
The struggle to provide food for their children is one that no one should have to endure. This year’s Foundation Day takes a step towards creating positive change – funds raised on this day will be directed towards local food relief initiatives.
We are delighted to be one of the lucky recipients this year! Big Group Hug will receive Foundation Day proceeds from one auction conducted by Reservoir office which will be used to purchase much needed infant formula.
Our infant formula supply is extremely low right now, and funds received will go a long way to bolster our reserves and help struggling families.
